Soup and nails...
Made some delicious and savagely healthy broccoli soup at the weekend...took a picture of the cooking but forgot to take one of the finished product as we wolfed it down so fast! So simple and delicious and even more so with a little blue cheese crumbled on top.
And...nails...yes indeed...who would be happy to receive some nails in the post...me! Aren't they cute...they have little flower heads and I bought them on nonesuchthings.

Wow, that's hardcore soup! Not sure I could stomach it, but am sure yours was the paragon of broccoli soup.
Where will the pretty nails go?

LOL!! Yes, it is hardcore but it is really tasty, I promise!! In our living room we have an "architectural feature"...a hole in the wall to the stairs - it looks nice but it creates quite a draft so I am thinking of getting a piece of perspex to cover it from the stairs side but don't want to ruin the look with hideous screws/nails so these should fit the bill...should get around to that by...eh...this time next year! Things like that tend to be a bit glacial around here!!
Oh yum broccoli soup! I almost, well only for a split second, wished it was cool enough here for soup. But honestly I love the warm we are having. I hope everything is going well Martina xx
